OVERVIEW
Across Victoria there are a number of employment, education and training programs funded by state and federal governments and delivered by labour market and community organisations to assist young people to successfully transition into meaningful employment, education and training.
The aim of Connectus is to work with young people who are disengaged from education, employment and training across a 12 month period and support them to work out:
What they want to do; |

Which pathway is best for them; |

What supports and resources they need to achieve their goals. |
To ensure the delivery of a program that connects with young people in local communities who are disengaged from education Connectus Providers develop partnerships with local key agencies such as:
Local Learning Employment Networks; |

Local Government; |

Group Training Companies; |

Secondary Schools; |

Other community and labour market program providers; and |

Other labour market program providers. |
Connectus Providers also engage local industry to work together in meeting the needs of both young people and employers.
